Archstone Launches Resident-Only Apartment App for Android

Denver–Archstone announced the release of its myArchstone app for Android.

Much like the app for iPhone , which the company released in October 2010, the myArchstone app for Android enables residents to pay rent, submit and track service requests, contact management and view their entire payment history in line-by-line detail.

“Less than 24 hours after launching the app for iPhone, we had customers asking for a similar app on Android,” said Dan Amedro, Archstone’s chief information officer. “That speaks to the incredible value our customers place in the ability to complete important transactions from their mobile devices.”

The convenient functionality of the free mobile app, which was listed on the Android Market on February 18, is available to residents living at any of Archstone’s nearly 190 apartment communities nationwide.

In addition to offering the convenience of paying rent, leasing and renewing online, the company was the first to introduce web-based instant application screening and the first to launch a sophisticated revenue management platform (Lease Rent Options).
