    Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library opened its doors to the public in 1972. As many of its systems need to be updated or replaced, the facility will now be renovated to accommodate 21st century library services and meet the needs of the city’s residents. The DC Public Library has presented preliminary design images of the renovated Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library at a community meeting, on Monday, May 19.

  • Developers Break Ground on Trophy Office Building in Downtown D.C.

    The JBG Companies has partnered with ICG Properties and Rittenhouse Partners to develop a new trophy property, meant to enhance Washington’s lower 16th street corridor.     The George Mason University in Fairfax is growing and looking to become an active 24/7 campus. To help meet the continuing demand for undergraduate housing, the university has selected Balfour Beatty Construction to lead the design-build team for their new student housing facility, Shenandoah Housing VIIIB, also called Taylor Hall. Balfour Beatty Construction has worked on three other projects for George Mason University, including the construction of another housing facility.
