  • Venues Group Breaks Ground on Event Facility in Fremont East

    The Venues Group recently held a groundbreaking ceremony for the company’s latest project, a Las Vegas entertainment facility. The developer, a premier special event and entertainment facility group, was represented at the facility by executives including Owner and Founder Victor Perillo and Vice President David Twigger, while the city was represented by Mayor Carolyn G. Goodman. The celebration included a brief press conference regarding the new development, as well as a VIP event that showcased the design flourishes of the development project that is set to take shape in downtown Las Vegas.

  • North Las Vegas Approves SunCal’s Master Plan for Park Highlands West

    SunCal is adding to the master planned community wave that has hit the Las Vegas area in recent months as a number of projects were revived by developers. The North Las Vegas City Council recently gave its approval to master developer SunCal’s proposed Park Highlands West community project. The development is just a part of the overall Park Highlands development initiative, and the recent approval essentially means that that large plot of land is being divided into East and West master-plans.

    There is always a large amount of chatter regarding big developments, new master-planned communities and ambitious redevelopment projects. But it’s the downtown component that is always polarizing. With Summerlin’s downtown area edging closer to reality, specifically the project formerly known as Summerlin Centre, Howard Hughes Corp’s concept for a new style of large scale development in the area is set to get its trial by combat as homebuyers and businesses will mark the latest phase in the master plan as either a success, or another Vegas bust.

The company has announced The Park, a concept that will take shape on the west side of The Strip that was thought up to bridge the area between New York-New York and Monte Carlo.

  • MGM Resorts Plans $86M Expansion of Mandalay Bay Convention Center

    Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino has announced plans to expand its Convention Center in a bid to answer the growing demand for meeting space in the city of Las Vegas. Announced plans for the facility would bring the total amount of available convention space at Mandalay Bay to over two million square feet. The cost of the new developments will cost an estimated $66 million.

  • High-end Summerlin Office Property Hits the Market; Gladstein Group Gets Listing

    A rare opportunity for a high-end office acquisition recently presented itself in the Summerlin master-planned community. Sam Gladstein, the president of the Gladstein Group, was named the exclusive sales agent by the Donald W. Reynolds Foundation for the property located at 1701 Village Center Circle. According to a recently issued press statement, the asking price for the listing will stand at around $11.5 million.

  • Sansone Plans $23 Million Makeover for Boulevard Mall

    With the city’s retail market still one of the pillars of its economy, a new refurbishment project was recently announced by commercial real estate firm Sansone Companies. The entity is looking to take an aging Las Vegas shopping center through an extensive renovation process that would add value and revive a once iconic property. Sansone is reportedly set to take The Boulevard Mall retail center through its first major renovation in more than 20 years. The company purchased the property at the end of last year for a fee of $54.5 million.
