2024 REIT Offerings
Common equity offerings accounted for the lion's share, according to S&P. Read the report.

As of Oct. 30, publicly traded U.S. equity REITs raised approximately $26.27 billion through capital offerings. Common equity offerings accounted for 56.13 percent of total capital raised, amounting to $14.74 billion, followed by senior debt which amounted to $10.82 billion.
Industrial and specialty topped the charts among the REIT property sectors. Within the industrial sector, Lineage Inc. raised $5.10 billion through Common Equity, followed by another specialty sector REIT, Digital Realty Trust, which raised $1.69 billion via senior debt offerings.
