S&P’s latest report on the sector’s performance.
The multifamily REIT sector had a 71.9 percent average AFFO payout ratio estimate as of October 11.
Among the multifamily REITs, Equity Residential was on top of the list with an 85 percent AFFO payout ratio estimate. Following next was Centerspace with a 78.8 percent payout ratio estimate.
Veris Residential Inc. was at the bottom of the list with a 53.6 percent payout ratio estimate for 2024Q3.
