Dallas—Greystar has started construction on Lakewood Apartments, a 435- unit Class A garden-style community in Lakewood, a suburb of Dallas, Texas.
The building will mostly include one-bedroom units and an average of 776 square feet per unit. Apartment amenities will include open floor plans, wooden cabinets, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and carpeting.
Residents of the apartments will have access to a fitness center, swimming pool, outdoor cooking area and cabana, bicycle storage, pet park and parking lot. Additionally, the leasing center will have a kitchen and a cyber café.
Lakewood Apartments will draw outdoor enthusiasts. It is adjacent to local bike paths and hiking trails, and is walking distance from White Rock Lake.
“We expect that the total package of location, amenities and in-unit features will make Lakewood Apartments a highly sought after community,” Scott Wise, executive director of Greystar, says in a statement.
