Dallas—Eight industry professionals were recently presented with “Professional Appreciation Awards” from David Cardwell, vice president of capital markets and technology of the National Multi Housing Council (NMHC). The winners received the awards during a Multifamily Information and Transactions Standards (MITS) annual membership meeting held during the NHMC Technology Conference in Dallas from October 28-30.
The award winners include Howard Behr of NWP Services Corp., Deborah Brown of Yardi Systems Inc., Ken Cluff and Gabriele Cressman of MyNewPlace, Skyler Cota of Realty Data Trust, Kent McDonald of AIMCO, Mike Trotzke of Resite Online, and Jon Tull of eREI.
The Professional Appreciation Awards were presented to select individuals from participating companies in the MITS initiative in recognition of their dedication, leadership and commitment to the development and implementation of industry data standards for the multifamily housing industry.
“This award represents the most significant individual contributions to the MITS initiative over the past year,” says Cardwell.
MITS is a shared data standard that was created by the largest apartment firms and software providers under the umbrella of the NMHC and the National Apartment Association (NAA).
