Edgewater, N.J. -- The Peninsula at City Place, the New Jersey Gold Coast's largest, $100 million condo conversion, is now full-service, thanks to the completion of three sleek lobbies and a 2,000-square-foot residents' lounge equipped with a billiards table, wet bar and full kitchen.
In addition to the opening of The Peninsula's public spaces, the building, developed by Savanna Partners and Investcorp, now has a 24-hour concierge and free resident shuttle to the ferry to New York. The building also has elected a condo association board.
Already 35 percent sold, the Peninsula -- which features underground parking for residents and their guests, a fitness center and children's playroom -- is located at the upscale shopping center City Place and offers views of the New York City skyline.
"The Peninsula at City Place is a hip yet luxurious development where residents can truly live, work and play,” says Jamie Anthony, project and asset manager for Savanna Partners.
The building's American Modern style combines traditional suburban design with chic urban minimalism. All units come with upscale finishes like granite countertops and high-end appliances and vary in size from 837 to 1,698 square feet. Prices range from the low $400,000s to almost $1.3 million.
The Peninsula is Savanna Partners' second New Jersey condo conversion. The company is known for creating luxury developments in Manhattan, such as the conversion of a 12-story pre-war loft building at 141 Fifth Ave.
