Philadelphia-- Campus Apartments, Inc., a Philadelphia-based university housing developer and management service, has been retained by ING Real Estate Community Living Fund, Rabil Properties, LLC and Corridor Ventures Real Estate to manage nine student apartment communities.
The student apartment portfolio includes 3,315 student housing beds at the University of Toledo in Ohio, Purdue University in Indiana, the University of Missouri at Columbia, the University of South Florida and Florida State University.
"What appealed to us is that the owners of the properties understood that [we] have some high standards as to how we manage our real estate," says Campus Apartments CEO David Adelman. "They understood our level of quality."
Campus Apartments, which currently manages more than 70 housing developments--such as the Campus Crossings-Riverbend complex in Athens, Ga. (pictured)--will be responsible for property management and real estate related services including monitoring capital improvement projects.
Both the buildings' owners and Campus Apartments share a collective goal, says Al Rabil, CEO and owner of Rabil Properties, LLC.
"We share a common mission of providing high quality housing for students while building value for investors," Rabil says. "Campus Apartments has the strength of capital, experience in the student housing management field and commitment that we look for in a partner."
Campus Apartments has developed and provided turnkey housing solutions for colleges and universities for nearly 50 years, ranging from undergraduate, graduate and faculty housing to for-sale condominiums and mixed-use developments. With more than 400 employees, Campus Apartments now controls more than 15,000 beds nationwide.
