Multi-housing News Update: Fogelman Management Group Appoints Pam Brooks as Central Region VP, and Other Moves

Nashville, Tenn.--Pam Brooks (pictured) has joined Fogelman Management Group (FMG) as regional vice president of the central region and will be based out of the company’s Nashville, Tenn. office.
In this position, Robinson will be overseeing all facets of properties operations for FMG-managed properties within the region. Brooks has more than 18 years experience in multifamily property operations, most recently working for Colonial Property Trust and Trammel Crow Residential.
CORE Group Marketing Names Mark J. Ripka Chief Operating Officer
New York--CORE Group Marketing has hired Mark J. Ripka as its chief operating officer.
Ripka has 20 years of experience in residential, commercial and retail real estate.
“Ripka built a brokerage for Sotheby’s from the ground up,” notes Shaun Osher, founder and chief executive officer at CORE Group Marketing. “He has tremendous energy and his experience in brokerage management and development make him the natural fit to manage the firm during a time of such exciting expansion.”
In his new role, Ripka will oversee CORE’s day-to-day operations, which include implementing new policies and procedures while leading the firm’s growing staff of over 50 agents. Ripka will also partner with Osher on strategic recruiting of top-tier agents.
Donald Baum Joins Sperry Van Ness Titan Commercial as MD
Kentfield, Calif.--Sperry Van Ness has brought Donald Baum on board as a managing director and broker-officer of Sperry Van Ness Titan Commercial in Kentfield, Calif.
Baum has over 18 years of commercial real estate experience and specializes in the purchase and sale of multifamily, retail, mixed-use and development parcels in the Northern California and Central Valley regions.
Baum, an attorney, has helped close over $1 billion in commercial investment transactions over the course of his career.
