Rohnert Park, Calif. -- Codding Enterprises, a mixed-use developer headquartered in Rohnert Park, Calif., has formed Codding Steel Frame Solutions (CSFS), a subsidiary that is expected to enhance and underscore the company’s strategy to be environmentally conscious.
CSFS will provide panelized steel framing solutions for residential and commercial construction using steel with high-recycled content, such as steel from recycled cars. The subsidiary will operate out of a solar-powered manufacturing facility that will begin operations by the end of July.
CSFS manufacturing processes will employ software developed by Toronto-based Genesis TP. The technology has been designed to reduce the manual operations often associated with the steel framing industry.
Codding Enterprises has named Thomas Chambers as COO of CSFS. Prior to joining the company, Chambers was vice president of operations at WorkRite Ergonomics, where he drove operational excellence and customer satisfaction initiatives to increase profits. Cambers also spent seven years in operations roles at JDS Uniphase, where his responsibilities included managing a 450-person optical fabrication plant.
