Published: July 03, 2008
The Green Initiative Awards is the multifamily industry's first competition recognizing eco-friendly products, services and corporate initiatives. The competition is also open to companies involved in mixed-use projects.
Entries are due July 16. Click here to download the entry form.
Who can enter:
Manufacturers and providers of environmentally conscious products and services for the multifamily and mixed-use industries (products and services utilized by multi-housing owners/investors, property management executives and leasing agents, developers, builders, architects). Also multifamily/mixed-use companies with a demonstrated green initiative. In addition to programs put in place at multi-housing and mixed-use properties, you can also enter green corporate initiatives taken within your own organization.
The judging process:
Multi-Housing News will gather an interdisciplinary panel of judges reflecting the various sectors of the multifamily industry. Entries will be evaluated based on their own progress/initiative in advancing green ideals (as outlined in the supporting materials) as well as against others in the categories they’ve entered. One winner and one honorable mention will be named in each category.
If you win:
Winning entries will be published online and in the November 2008 issue of Multi-Housing News. Winners and honorable mentions will be recognized in Atlanta, October 2-3, at the Green + Design Expo and Conference produced by Nielsen Business Media publications including: Multi-Housing News, Commercial Property News, Kitchen + Bath Business, Contract, Hospitality Design and Display and Design Ideas. Visit www.greendesignexpo.com for more details about Green + Design.
Entry Requirements:
