Starwoods to Debut W Marrakech in Morocco

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. announced the introduction of its W brand to North Africa with plans to debut a new hotel and residence property in Marrakech, Morocco. W Marrakech and The Residences at W Marrakech will include a 150-room hotel and 68 whole-ownership villa residences and is scheduled to open in 2010.

According to a new report by real estate services firm Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels, the positive long-term growth forecast for Brazil is popping up on the radar of those who are in the position to invest.
