Village Green Unveils New Renderings for 254-Unit Luxury Rental Community

Located at 101 S. Fifth St. in Minneapolis’ Central Business District, The Soo Line Building was originally constructed for the First National Bank of Minneapolis and upon completion in 1915 became the tallest commercial building in the city. Village Green broke ground on the redevelopment project on Oct. 10, 2012, and the Soo Line Building City Apartments was slated to become the first significant luxury rental community in 25 years. The financing for the redevelopment project was provided by U.S. Bank, a longtime partner of Village Green.

Soo Line Building City Apartments will feature 254 luxury units and will include numerous floor-plan options, from studios of 450 square feet to penthouses at 1,500 square feet. Amenities will include a fitness center, business center, conference room, restaurant with full bar, concierge, indoor/outdoor rooftop pool and hot tub, rooftop Skydeck with outdoor bar and private dining area.
