Double Recognition for Albuquerque’s Architecture Firm Dekker/Perich/Sabatini

By Anca Gagiuc, Associate Editor

Architectural Record is a magazine that focuses on design inspiration and skill development, on practice management and business improvement. Recently they’ve announced their list of top 300 U.S. architecture firms based on revenue.

Engineering News-Record Southwest was selected as 2013 Design Firm of the Year. Commitment to sustainable design, excellent quality of work, involvement in community works, and an ever- increasing portfolio of projects were among the considerations that made the regional editors hand them the title.

Albuquerque’s Dekker/Perich/Sabatini made it again to the list. This year they climbed 55 positions from a year ago, occupying a well-deserved 112 rank. Their recorded architectural revenue was of $21.14 million, $11.36 million coming from domestic projects. They are the only firm from New Mexico that was recognized by the publication. The list can be viewed here.

Dekker/Perich/Sabatini is led by a trio of architects whose joint effort created a firm specializing in architecture, interior design, landscape, planning, and structural engineering. They’ve been on the market since 1998 and currently operate from offices in Albuquerque, Amarillo, and Las Cruces. The founder is Dale Dekker.
